Lunacy of liquor

Little child lost

Raised on appearances

Instead of love

Never cause disgrace

Father busy banker

Mother alcohol attracted and attached

Tried to love the world

Which did not love back

No place in this harsh world

For little boys who are blue

Seeker of golden god in the bottle

Through cells at birth

or at mother's knee

Life always a stage

Never allowed to be oneself

Never to drink from life's joys

Only the decanter of dreams and demons

Solace and self found in death?
