Soles of the body

Feet poor feet

Must hold this burden

Carry this weight

Withstand much abuse

Go where mind orders

Always cloaked

As if delicate

Wanting to be free

To run in fields of flowers

To feel earth's soil among the toes

At times the burden, the weight

Is too great to bare

The feet must rest

High in the air

To give up their duties

If just for a moment

To rest in dispair

Feeling tired and unworthy

Remembering to be

Strong and study

Feet return to their duty

Carrying the weight, the burden
